WHAT IS ENERGY HEALING?

There are many wonderful benefits of Energetic Healing. It’s a very simple process, but usually produces quite profound effects. The main purpose of an Energetic Healing Treatment is not only to support the physical body, but also to promote a positive mind so you can experience more joy in life.

HOW ENERGY HEALING CAN HELP

Some clients consult me to help with their energy levels, managing the stress of their daily routine or when transitions are happening in their lives. Others will come to develop themselves spiritually and experience a greater sense of meaning in life. Many of my clients are well and want to stay that way and the Energetic Healing helps them to maintain that harmony so they can respond to the challenges differently. After a treatment most people feel calm and relaxed, and some say they feel energetic, clear-minded and productive. 

​Many who come for my treatments realize that balancing their systems can help them to cope better with a wide range of health conditions, including stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and infertility to mention a few.

You do not need to be into spirituality to enjoy the benefits of reiki. Yet, for many receive reiki treatments to support themselves through their self healing journey i.e. spiritual growth / personal development.

Reiki addresses the whole person, rather than targeting individual symptoms. It  can create profound, often subtle shifts from deep within your own being. What does that look like? Guidance about what to do around difficult situations can come more easily. Or it may inspire a change in attitude or belief about your situation. Suddenly, you see your condition from a fresh perspective and are able to deal with it in a more positive way. Or it might direct you to the right kind of action needed which is guided from within.
The answer is, “It depends.” It depends on a number of things.

People attend Reiki treatments for various reasons. If you choose Reiki as a method of pampering or a boost then a Reiki treatment once in a while is sufficient. If you have a chronic condition and wish to have Reiki treatments with the aim of improving your health challenge, ongoing weekly treatments are usually encouraged for a period of six to eight weeks.

For conditions like stress, tension, anxiety, sleeplessness and emotional problems I’d suggest 4 treatments over a period of 8 weeks; physical stuff can take a little longer. If you are looking for longer term support as your navigate challenge and integrate changes into your life, I’d suggest bi-weekly or monthly treatments.

The reiki energy is cumulative and builds up in the system. While the benefits of reiki may be noticed after one treatment, ongoing Reiki treatments are desirable for long term results. Just like anything the more you do it, the better the results e.g. one yoga class is wonderful, yoga regularly is where you will truly feel and see the benefits.
